The Fiber Optic Cable Water Penetration Tester is designed to evaluate the resistance of optical cables to water ingress. In this test, a fiber optic cable sample is sealed to a water hose and subjected to a constant water column pressure equivalent to 1 meter for a duration of 24 hours. The opposite end of the cable is monitored to determine whether any leakage occurs, ensuring the cable’s strength and protection against water penetration.
